The 1500 Project
1,221+ books since age 10. The largest personal book archive of any living Indian author. A body of work spanning every genre.
The Story
It started in 2007 — age 10. A boy in Pune, Maharashtra, who had just lost all his friends when his family moved house. A diary became his only confidant. Poetry followed, then short stories, then full books. By 19, he'd invented his own writing method and was publishing on Amazon KDP. The archive grew — relentlessly, obsessively, across every genre.
By 2019, the count had passed 600. By 2023, it passed 1,000. The genres kept expanding — fiction, non-fiction, mystery, romance, self-help, technology, cooking, travel, arts, business, health, science, history, writing. Every conceivable category.
The word count climbed past 44 million. The books filled digital archives. And the question became: what do you do with 1,500 books?
The answer is The First Fifty — a curated inaugural release that showcases the best of this vast archive. But the archive itself is the story. The scale IS the narrative.
